Care and Learning Alliance
The Care and Learning Alliance offers a one-door approach to a broad range of Childhood Practice and Family Support services. It is the largest childcare and family membership organisation offering universal services in the Highland and Moray areas, with members in other parts of Scotland.
Childline
Childline provides free and confidential help for young people in the UK. When a young person calls Childline on 0800 1111 they get through to a counsellor. Counsellors are there to listen and support. There are also 1-2-1 counsellor chats online, and contact by email.
HADP
The Highland Alcohol and Drugs Partnership Support Team support, advise, facilitate and provide guidance on alcohol and drug issues in Highland. They co-ordinate information on best practice, link to national work and policy and provide the support to report on performance locally. Anyone with a query about alcohol and/or drug issues can contact them through the website www.highland-adp.org.uk.
Highland Child Protection Committee
Highland Child Protection Committee is a multi-agency partnership responsible for raising public awareness of child protection issues, co-ordinating prevention activities with children and their families, providing child protection guidance and training, implementing national child protection initiatives, and assuring the quality of responses to child protection issues.
